Good point! We've combined both
"Feed the Hungry" and "Give Drink to the Thirsty" for this
project to make things a little easier on the planning end and to allow this
challenge to take place over 2 weekends.
Do I have
to do all 6 of the Project Mercy events?
Nope! The ultimate challenge is to
complete all 7 Corporal Works of Mercy in two weekends, but you can sign up for
as many or as few of the events as you'd like.
How will I
and/or my group get to the event?
Good question. This is a student-led
outreach, so we students are in charge of getting ourselves to the event. If
you can find someone with a car who would like to go, or have a car to offer
rides, that would be great! When signing up, make note if you need/can give a
ride and how many seats you need/can give. Transportation will likely be the
trickiest part of this project, as it is logistically hard to figure out, but
we will do all we can to get everyone where they need to go, so don't worry. :)
Who is
sponsoring this event?
Another good question! The answer is
one of the coolest households on campus, Warriors of the Word! (All households
are cool, by the way. We're a big fan of all households in general. It would
just be weird if we didn't think we were one of the coolest.)
Where can I
get more information/who can I contact?
You can contact the organizer of
this project (Emily McMahon) at reginamaria.jmj@gmail.com
or at 508-259-9507. Alternatively,
you can email Warriors of the Word Household at
warriorsoftheword@franciscan.edu
